Diploma Project Presentation

Events

On Saturday, December 21, 15:00, Ilia State University (building B, room 202) will host an exhibition titled "ANIMAL PLANET". The project will be presented by the graduates of ISU Center of Fine and Applied Arts, specialized in the following five directions:

  • Easel Painting;
  • Jewelry Art (Gold-work and Enamel);
  • Computer Design and Easel Graphics;
  • Interior, Exterior, Monumental painting, Ceramics and Stained-glass window art;
  • Monument Protection and Restoration (buildings, painting, stone, wood and metal processing)

All alumni  have performed the individual works which are combined by the common concept of a unified composition.

The idea of the project has been derived from the current reality. The modern technical progress has endangered the flora and fauna diversity of our planet to search the maximum comfort for humans. The irrational behavior of Homo sapiens leads to the extinction of the several animal species and many of them are at risk of disappearance; this is ultimately the guarantee of human-being destruction.

With the project "ANIMAL PLANET", the students tried to remind mankind the existence of an invisible chain, connecting all living creatures of our planet with each other. The world is a whole-organism, where everyone, even the smallest creature has an important place and the people are obliged to protect and defend them because of his existence on this planet not to be ever questionable.
