Conversation with Dirk Wiese "Germany and Georgia"

Events

Georgia and Germany are linked by a long history - from the Swabian settlers of the 19th century to the present day. The close and trusting relationship between the two countries is also due to the commitment and interest of Georgian and German citizens.
During his visit to Georgia, Dirk Wiese, Federal Government Coordinator for Intersocietal Cooperation with Russia, Central Asia and the Eastern Partnership Countries and member of the German Bundestag, would like to talk to young people about this special relationship – and encourage them to continue their efforts to promote understanding between Germans and Georgians. He invites students from Ilia University to an exchange of ideas under the motto: "Germany and Georgia - from Swabian settlers to the EU’s Eastern Partnership. 200 years of intersocietal cooperation. Discussion with Dirk Wiese ". The discussion will take place on Tuesday, 14 May, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the LIGAMUS and is open to students of political science and students of all disciplines with an interest in Germany. The format of the event offers the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions and share views with Dirk Wiese about Germany and Georgia. The discussion will be in English.
