Cho Ju-Kwan's Public Lecture: The Significance of Translation in the Process of Establishing Cultural Relations

To mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Georgia, Cho Ju-Kwan, a former professor of Yonsei University, Korean translator of “The Knight in the Panther's Skin”, will deliver a public lecture on the significance of translation in the process of establishing cultural relations on May 17th, at 11:00 a.m. as part of Korean Week at Ilia State University.

Professor Cho Ju-Kwan will share the experience he gained while translating “The Knight in the Panther's Skin”, draw historical and cultural parallels, and talk about relations between Georgia and Korea.

Time: May 17th, 11:00-12:00 p.m.

Working languages: Korean, Georgian (simultaneous interpretation will be provided)
