On May 17, 13:00, Ilia State University will host the public lectures by ISU Professors Zaal Kikvidze and Merab Kokaia.

Zaal Kikvidze will deliver the lecture on “Biodiversity and Biotic Interactions”

The lecture will be dedicated to the study of biological diversity as well as the role of the vegetable organisms in formation of biological diversity, covering local and global ecosystems.

The role of the organisms’ positive (facilitative) and negative (competitive) interactions in developing the structure of ecosystem will be discussed at the lecture as well.

Merab Kokaia will deliver the lecture on “Epilepsy and Gene Therapy”. The alternative treatment strategies of epilepsy will be discussed at the meeting.
