AMBASSADOR OF GREAT BRITAIN TO GEORGIA VISITS ILIAUNI

On 21 April, at 14:00, at ISU room E207, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith will deliver a public lecture on the topic: UK-Georgia - 25 Years of Diplomatic Relations.
Regarding the Speaker
Justin McKenzie Smith has served as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Georgia since August 2016. Previous to this, Justin was Deputy Head of Mission and Director for Trade and Investment at the British Embassy in Mexico City from 2011-2015. Justin was Deputy Director responsible for the UK’s relations with Russia, the South Caucasus and Central Asia in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2008-2011. From 2004-2008, Justin was the Spokesperson for the UK Mission to the United Nations in New York and a member of the UK’s Security Council team. Mr. Smith started to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994. He also served in the British Embassy in Moscow in the second half of the 1990s.
