The PPRTC Advisory Board Selected Awardees

Announcements

On 5 December, PPRTC announced the Advisory Board decision about the selected three public policy healthcare projects for potential funding. PPRTC will award stipends (US $1,250) for each project for the activities directly related to their implementation. The duration of project activities should not exceed 3 months, and should be timed to occur between December 18 and March 7.

Successful healthcare Policy Paper Research Projects:

1) Research team leader: Viktoria Midelauri,  invited lecturer of ISU
Title of the research: “Situational Analysis  of the Adults under the state care”
Research team:
 Ketevan Makashvili, full professor of ISU
 Tamar Saginadze, Master degree in healthcare, ISU

2) Research Team Leader: Nikoloz Maglaperidze, Full Professor, ISU
Title of the research: “Analysis of life expectancy in Georgia during the periods of 2007-2012”
Research team: Marina Chodrishvili, employee of ISU

3)  Research Team Leader: Sopio Kereselidze, director of Autism center of ISU
Title of the Research: “Research of healthcare and education services for autistic spectrum individuals”.

5 November, 2013 The Public Policy Research and Training Center (PPRTC) at the Ilia State University (ISU) Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) Program announced the 1st open call for policy research paper proposals in the field of healthcare. In all 9 proposals were submitted.
