The Georgian Research and Development Foundation (GRDF) invites the Georgian scientists actively participating in the biological sciences to apply for the Mini-Grant program. 

The competition winners will have the opportunity to get a travel grant for participating in international conferences or exploring new research areas in collaboration with senior researchers. The mini-grant program includes trainings for young researchers, manuscript development and publication. 

Prospect participants should meet the objectives and priorities of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and Cooperative Biological Engagement Program. 

Under the competition, 12 grants up to $10,000 will be awarded.

The deadline for submitting the applications: October 31, 2013. 17:00 (Tbilisi Time)
