Announcements

The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) and the Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) accept applications for participation in an international symposium “D-Brane Instantons, Wall Crossing and Microstate Counting”.

Symposium will be held on November 15-21, 2010.

Location: Italy, Trieste, Miramare

- Entropy Enigmas
- Precision counting
- Black Holes and Attractors
- Black Holes in AdS

Eligibility: Scholars and students from the UN member states.
Sessions will be held in English.
Registration is free of charge.
Travel and accommodation costs will not be covered by the organizers of the event. However, Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) will reimburse the costs of accommodation and travel to several representatives from the developing countries. In this case, applicants should not be older that 45 years and must attend all events planed within the frames of the symposium.
