Summer School of Inclusive Education

Ilia State University is announcing the Summer School of Inclusive Education financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The summer school offers participants the certificate courses (including 9 credits) to raise their qualification in the field of inclusive education from June 20 through July 9.  

The summer school offers two modules:

I. Inclusive Education and Classroom Practice 

The course is for teachers to raise their qualification in the field of inclusive education. The studying program is open to practice teachers of the subject and primary education, teacher inductees, master’s degree candidates, MA or graduate students. 

The total number of the students: 30 participants

II Strategies to Manage Complex Behavior in Classroom-Applied Analysis of Behavior

The course is for special teachers and school psychologists to raise their qualification in inclusive education. The program is open to practice teachers of the subject and primary education, teacher inductees or MA students concentrating on teacher specialization. 

The total number of the students: 30 participants

The participation in the summer school is free of charge. 

The summer school is administrated by ISU College of MA and PhD programs. 

The duration of the school is three weeks (the modules will be conducted in parallel). 

Date:  from June 20   through July 9 

Hours: 10:00-16:00

The registration dates: July 6 through June 13.

Recommendation letter from the institution of higher education or workplace 

Copy of diploma
