ISU School of Law

Mentorship (Students for Students)

Ilia State University School of Law announces the recruitment of students who will assist the newcomers to overcome some problems and challenges related to the study of the program materials. The meetings with newcomer students will be systematically organized.

The project implies the creation of a group including 3-5 members, mostly staffed by the 3rd and 4th year students. On weekends, the project participants will organize meetings with newcomers concentrated on public, private and criminal law.

In the fall semester 2013, the lecture hours are increased (4-6 hours per week) and students are given the chance to obtain knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspects of their major study directions. In addition, the School of Law organizes the seminar meetings and ISU students are given the opportunity to meet the representatives of different state, non-governmental and private sectors with the purpose of getting information about their daily works. The synthesis of the above-mentioned methods provides the multidimensional result-oriented study process.

If you would like to take part in the project "Students for Students", you should register at the Office of ISU School of Law till October 9, 2013.

Venue: Ilia State University Building A 402, Chavchavadze Ave. 32.

The project will take start from October 15, 2013. From October 9 to 15, ISU School of Law will work with the 3rd and 4th year students to equip them with useful practical skills. From October 15, students will be grouped and they will take a valuable contribution to the development of the professional lawyers.
