On 9 December, Columbia University Professor Michael S. Sparer held a meeting with successful healthcare Policy Paper authors selected by PPRTC advisory board.

At the meeting, selected public policy authors, Full Professor of ISU Likoloz Maglaperidze, Full Professor of ISU Ketevan Makashvili, and Director of the Autism center of ISU Sopio Kereselidze, overviewed some of the background information and discussed their main focus in their ongoing healthcare project.

Professor Michael S. Sparer shared knowledge and give recommendations to authors in the process of transforming healthcare academic research into public policy relevant recommendations.

Researchers are expected to finalize the sponsored research at the healthcare field in the beginning of March. Public policy discussion will be organized by PPRTC after completion of the papers.

The meeting was also attended by the ISU MPA director and the member of the advisory board Archil Abashidze, Public Policy Advisor in the Advocacy and Civil Society Development in Georgia (G-PAC) program of EWMI and the member of the advisory board Jason Swantek, and PPRTC Coordinator Nino Imedashvili.
