PPRTC Training “Proceedings Process Technique”

Applications are being accepted for the certified course “Proceedings Process Technique in Public Institutions”

Ilia State University Public Policy Administration Program Public Policy Research and Training Center, with the financial support of USAID, calls for applications for certified course” Proceedings Process Technique in Public Institutions”.

The aim of the program is to pass knowledge about proceedings process to those employed in public, state and non-governmental institutions. Upon completion of the certified program, participants will be able to adhere to public institution proceedings standards, prepare documentation and offer good service to interested parties.

Upon course completion, participants will be able to do the following:
Correctly compose letters, orders and memos, according to public administration standards. Documentation drafting, proceedings and legal documents will be introduced in scope of the program.

Program includes two modules:

1.Introduction to regulations and rules of public proceedings - 12 contact hours

2. Practical work in public institutions, using examples - 12 contact hours

Qualified teaching takes place in small groups. Course methodology is based on discussion of practical examples; sharing and analyzing personal experience; applying theory to practice.

Head of Ilia State Law department, Dali Tskvitishvili leads the course. She has vast experience of state and non-governmental work. She has edited many important works, including university management guide.

Course duration: course covers 24 hours that are spread over 4-5 weeks; classes are held for 3 hours, twice a week.

Since this course is partly financed in scope of the USAID EWMI-G-PAC- project, it costs 200 Lari for the registered participant.

Upon successful course completion, joint Ilia State University and USAID certificates are issued.
