Paid Internships for Graduate Students

Announcements

Amount of internship grant: $900 - $1800

Duration of internship: Up to 6 months

Deadline: Ongoing (submit applications by the last Friday of every month)

EWMI’s Policy, Advocacy, and Civil Society Development in Georgia (G-PAC) program  is accepting applications for 25-30 paid internships for Georgian graduate students in public policy, political science, public administration, economics and related academic programs.

Grants for internships are available for up to six months throughout the year, including summers, with leading Georgian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and public institutions. Interns will conduct research on a public policy topic and/or contribute to a research-based advocacy campaign. The program will not cover positions in which administrative duties constitute the bulk of activity. Internships may, but need not, take place in Tbilisi.  Regional applicants are strongly encouraged.

Eligible candidates include enrolled graduate students, graduate students who have recently completed a degree, and undergraduate degree holders who intend to pursue graduate studies. Interns may receive academic credits for their internships. Priority will be given to applicants who have arranged to receive academic credits with their post-secondary institution.

APPLY NOW!

Applications should include:

  • The G-PAC Grant Application, can be downloaded from here (English version);
  • A cover letter;
  • A signed letter of offer from the NGO or public institution confirming the position, pending receipt of the internship grant;
