Ilia State University and Eurasia Management House (EMH) signed an agreement of collaboration on 19 November to launch Advanced Professional Diplomas in Management Studies which are British Technical Education Council –EDEXCEL qualifications. The collaboration will also offer short courses in specific management disciplines. The Advanced diplomas will lead to double degrees – one from the United Kingdom and other from the Ilia State University. The program is targeted at both Georgian and international students and will be taught in English by an international Faculty.

The collaboration agreement is regarded as an initial step toward consolidating the collaboration through 2011 and establishing the Ilia Institute of Advanced Management Studies early in 2012 as an international centre of excellence in management education, research and training. The institute, when established, will collaborate with a number of leading advanced management institutes throughout Europe and the United States of America.”
