Enlisting for Negotiations Courses

Ilia State University Public Policy Administration Program, Public Policy Research and Training Center is enrolling participants for a certified course "Art of Negotiation: Strategies, Tactics and Process". The course is implemented with USAID financial support.  

Program aims to inform people employed in public and nongovernmental sector about negotiation strategies and tactics, thus helping them to become effective negotiators, able to lead negotiation within their organizations, protect the interests of their organizations while communicating with other governmental or nongovernmental agencies, within the country, and also on a regional and international level.

Training course covers the following topics:

o   Negotiation and Its Basic Elements
o  
preparing for Negotiation
o  
Negotiation Tactics and Strategies
o  
Managing Complex Negotiations
o  
Negotiations in Multicultural Environment
o   Negotiations in International Environment and Multifaceted Negotiations

Small groups will receive high-quality education. Course includes practical activities and case work and discussion and applying theory to mentioned practical components.

Ilia State Associated Professor and ESSEC IRENE member Tariel Sikharulidze leads the course. Tariel Sikharulidze has many years of international experience. Tariel Sikharulidze lectures on negotiation at ESSEC Business School Paris-Singapore. He also leads series of lectures on negotiations in Georgian Young Lawyer's Association. He has taught negations course in  Ecole de Guerre, Ecole Nationale d'Administraion, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Georgia. He has trained public officers in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Course duration: 24 hours spread over 5-6 weeks (study schedule to be agreed).

Since major part of the course is financed by USAID, in frames of EWMI-G-PAC project, tuition for every registered participant is 200 Lari.

After successful course completion, joint Ilia State University and USAID certificates are provided.
