European Law Students Association ELSA is implementing project, debates in Tbilisi on the issue of same sex marriage. Law faculties from different universities are participating in this project and among them is Ilia State University.

In case you are interested in participating in abovementioned debates, you should form a group consisting of three members who will be students of ISU College of Law. After that you should register your group  on the following link >> 

Those groups who will be registered will have to pass the following stages.

The deadline for selection the application forms is February 16

Interview February 18

Training February 20

Debates February 23

Selecting participants will happen on the basis of applications and interviews. Each group will consist of three members.

First level – From all the universities definite number of groups will be selected.

Second level – After finishing the inter university championship winner groups from every university will be selected.

After finishing the second level 8 best groups will be selected (where every university will be presented with the group) who will play the tournament between the universities. As a result, holders of the prize places (first, second, third) will be announced and will be given certificates and encouraging prizes. 

The topic for inter university debates will be same sex marriage and for the second level (between university tournament) debated topic will be institute for surrogacy.

Participation in the project is free of charge for the ELSA members and for those who are not the members it is 10 GEL (for the team).
