According to the law adopted by the Swedish Parliament, the higher education in Sweden has become chargeable for non-EU member countries. The “Swedish Institute” has created a new scholarship “Baltic Sea Region Program/Visby Program” designed for the eastern countries. The program includes the studying period of 2010-2013. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, health insurance and travel expenses.
From December 1 to January 31, 2012, you are able to apply for the program through the web-page, including the lists of Swedish institutes and master programs. After filling out the application through the mentioned web-page, students should apply for the Visby program scholarship.

Apart from the master programs, the “Swedish Institute” offers the scholarships for the doctoral programs to the representatives of Georgia.
