Ilia State University hosted a seminar “Intellectual Property Basics and Protection Mechanisms”.  Timothy Trainer, American Expert in the field of intellectual property, made a speech with the representatives of Sakpatenti and discussed the role of intellectual Law in business development. In addition, Mr. Trainer talked about the following issues: Protection Mechanism of Trademarks and Geographic indications, Copyright Protection and Role of Design and Invention. 

The seminar was carried out with support of National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia Sakpatenti and US Agency for International Development (USAID) Economic Prosperity Initiative (EPI).
