The visit of Swedish Universities
On October 22-23 2012 the delegation of representatives of Swedish Universities paid a visit to Georgia. The visit was organized by Tempus National Bureau and the Swedish government. The aim of the visit was extending the collaboration between Georgian and Swedish Universities within the frames of Tempus, Erasmus Mundus and Linneaus-Palme programs.
On October 23 Ilia State University hosted more than twenty representatives of Swedish Universities, who visited ISU employees and professors within the frames of working visit. On the working meetings parties discussed the possibilities of implementation of joint projects in direction of business administration, engineering, chemistry, informational technologies, architecture, education and social sciences. Also there were important steps made towards establishing two-way contacts between ISU and above ten Swedish Universities. In particular, Lund University, Malmo University, Kristianstad University, Royal Institute of Technology (KHT), University of Boras etc.
