


Student Scientific Conference
On March 9-11, Ilia State University, University of Jena (Germany) and International Scientific-Research Institute of Caucasiology organized the international conference on the basis of ISU Dedoflistskaro Scientific-Research Center. The professors and students from Ilia State University and the University of Jena took part in the conference.
ISU students made speeches: 1. Temur Sukashvili – ”The Eastern Frontier of Georgia (History and Nowadays)”. 2. Ketevan Korashvili - ”Zones in the Late Bronze Age". 3. Tamuna Macharashvili - “Five Years in Fshav-Khevsureti” by George Tevdoradze 4. Nino Sherazadishvili – “Customary Law as one of the Sources for Historical Researches”. 5. Nino Okrostsvaridze – “Woman as a Defender of the Internal Space of Family – Yesterday and Today” (Case of the Turk Georgians). Mr. Kevin J. Tuite talked about the future research projects which aim to deepen the ethnographic researches.
Such kind of conferences will be annually organized and students will be given the opportunity to get new information and to work along with outstanding scientists.
