Spanish – Language of Communication

On March 19, Ilia State University hosted the first Spanish South Caucasian conference dedicated to the theme -“Spanish as a language of communication”.

Georgian representatives, students and professors from Azerbaijan University of Languages attended the conference.

The participants of the conference discussed cultural and local lore related issues within the frameworks of different thematic sessions.

The first South Caucasian conference was initiated by the lecturers of AECID (Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation) with support of Ilia State University and Spanish Language and Culture Center “Carmen”.
