The young sociologist of Ilia State University organized a student scientific conference.

The key topic of the conference – “Sociology in Turbulent Times” – covered the traditional (nationalism, globalization, gender equality) and modern issues (social media, new forms of social relationships). Ilia State University Bachelor, Master and PhD students took part in the conference.

The young researchers, interested in current challenges facing to sociology, presented their ideas and shared them with each other. They discussed the topics that require in-depth sociological analysis.
