Research of Georgian Scientists in SCIENCE MAGAZINE

On April 20, 2012 the high-ranking SCIENCE MAGAZINE (vol. 336 pp. 353-355) published the article “Recent Plant Diversity Changes on Europe’s Mountain Summits” co-authored by the professors of ISU Institute of Ecology – Otar Abdaladze and Maia Akhalkatsi. The research was conducted within the framework of EU fifth framework programme “GLORIA - Global Observation Research Initiative in Alpine Environments”. The research is dedicated to the transformation tendencies of high altitude mountain plants, as an important bioclimatic indicator.
