Reflection of the Caucasus Problems in the Internet Space
On May 18, 2012, Ilia State University hosted the meeting on “Reflection of the Caucasus Problems in the Internet Space”. The meeting was held within the framework of the project entitled “Meetings to Support the Development of Civil Awareness” and was organized by the Union of Young Intellectuals “Lazare” and NGO “Free Caucasus”.
The experts, members of forums and blogs made speeches at the meeting. The online interactions from different republics of the Caucasus were organized as well.
The Union of Young Intellectuals “Lazare” was founded in Moscow(2005) as a youth movement. It incorporates Georgian emigrant students. For the purpose of developing close relationships between them, the union organized different events including conferences, debates, meetings with outstanding people, concerts, contests and etc.
