Qatar University Delegation Visits Iliauni
Qatar University delegation visited Ilia State University on April 8. The delegation consisted of the following members:
- Dr. Sheikha Abdullah al-Misned - Qatar University President
- Dr. Darvish al-Emand - Head of Social and Economic Research Institute at Qatar University
- Dr. Khalid al-Ali - Qatar University Vice-President in Academic Matters
The delegation met Ilia State University Rector, Mr. Giga Zedania. Cooperation perspectives were discussed during the meeting. Both parties agreed to sign a memorandum between Qatar University and Ilia State University in the nearest future.
Qatar University is one of the oldest universities, initially founded as an education college. Other fields were added on later, such as: humanitarian sciences, business administration, Islamic studies, etc. Presently, Qatar University unites more than 14 000 students
