At Ilia State University the public lecture on the topic: "Occupied Territories: Political and Legal Aspects" was held. The lecture was lead by the president of the Institute for Strategic Research of Georgia Eka Tkesheleashvili and the vice-president Irakli Porchkhidze.

On the lecture political as well as legal aspects of Georgia's territorial integrity were discussed.

Eka Tkeshelashvili talked about the current legal conditions for Georgia in relation to the occupied territories while Irakli Porchkhidze focused on the political side of this issue.

The lecture was public and every interested person was free to attend. The audience was given a chance to express their opinion and ask the questions.
