Ilia State Unievrsity hosted a public lecture on “Life without Water” delivered by Professor Teimuraz Kurtskhalia, Director of Tbilisi Institute of Metabolic Genetics at Ilia State University and Professor at MPI of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics.

The professor highlighted the development stages of the institute and discussed its future plans.

Mr. Kurtskhalia talked about the in-ground worms, development of their cells and features as well as discussed the interaction of molecules and substances containing worms. Concretely, he discussed the case of Cholesterin.  

At the end of the lecture, he answered the questions of the audience.
