Professor Folke Lindahl at the Iliauni
On July 26 Professor of Michigan State University Mr. Folke Lindahl paid visit to the Ilia State University by invitation of the faculty of the Undergraduate Liberal Science Program.
The first lecture of the American professor was held in the conference room of the Austrian Library of the University. About 30 students registered for the course, which took place between July 26 and August 10. Lectures covered so called “Federalist Letters” that became the basis for American constitution. Student will get involved in discussion on the amendments to the Georgian constitution. They will draw parallels between Georgian and American models of state organization.
Because of the importance of the issues related to the constitution, Lindahl emphasized and provided an overview of the planed amendments of the Georgian constitution.
