Presentation of Special Teachers’ Professional Club
Ilia State University hosted a presentation of Special Teachers’ Professional Club of ISU College of Art and Science.
ISU graduate students created the club to work on actual and key issues of inclusive education. The club members discussed future plans which imply establishment of cooperative relations with different organizations in order to provide an employment support for people with special needs. In addition, the club aims to improve curriculums in special pedagogic and inclusive education as well as to raise awareness of the society on inclusive education.
The presentation was carried out with participation of Jana Kvachadze, Expert of Education. Ms. Kvachadze discussed the importance of inclusive education in details. Gigi Tevzadze, Rector of Ilia State University, attended the presentation.
