


Presentation of Georgian Theatre Research Centre
On September 17, within the framework of Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre, Sheraton Metekhi Palace Hotel hosted a presentation of ISU Modern Georgian Theatre Research Centre. The presentation was designed for the directors of international festivals, foreign experts and theatre critics from sixteen countries of Europe and Asia.
Eka Mazmishvili, Head of Marjanishvili Theatre and General Director of the Festival, introduced the Modern Georgian Theatre Research Centre, its staff and ISU researchers to the audience.
Doctoral Student and Researcher Elene Babakishvili made the presentation on the goals, works, projects and future plans of the Centre.
Tatyana Artimovich, Director of Belarus Alternative Theatre Centre, expressed her interests in the works of the Centre and consequently, she will prepare a special article for the independent Belarusian magazine "Alt Bell Art".
The information about ISU Modern Georgian Theatre Research Centre will be published in the bilingual catalogue of Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre.
