Presentation of Ethnographic Dictionary
On March 13 Iliauni bookshop "Ligamus" held the presentation of the research project prepared by the Visual Anthropology and Local History Research Laboratory - "Georgian Ethnographic Dictionary (Database)"
The practical aim of this database is to help students (also other interested people) to better master historical disciplines offered at the university on the bachelor as well as master and PhD level.
In the database, with the help of multimedia technologies in alphabetical and thematic principle, using correspondent scientific literature 6200 terms characteristic to the Georgian ethograhic existence is organized and explained. Rich audio, phonograph, cinema and video material is also presented.
The dictionary will be placed on Iliauni's web server and will be available for university's students and staff.
