On May 24, Ilia State University Bookstore “Ligamus” hosted a public lecture and discussion on “Outcomes of Circassian Genocide Recognition”.

Speakers:  Andrew Andersen, Political Historian, Expert of Inter-ethnic and Ideological Conflicts; Walter Richmond, Expert of Circassian Culture and Genocide and Iyad Youghar, Chairman of the International Circassian Council.

Ghia Nodia, Director of ISU International School for Caucasus Studies, made a speech and talked about the Circassian genocide, its related issues and outcomes of the genocide recognition.
