Olympiad “BG Language” Presentation
Ilia State University is a sponsor of English Language Olympiad “BG Language 2011”. The presentation of the project was held at Courtyard Marriott Hotel. The Olympiad will cover 5 towns and 59 municipalities. 10 000 trainees from 3rd and 12th classes will take part in the contest. Each 12th winner will be financed by Ilia State University. The Olympiad is organized by the non-state organization “Business Group” and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs of Georgia.
Mr. Sergo Ratiani, Head of Ilia State University Administration, expressed his opinion on the importance of the Olympiad. The presentation was attended by the high-qualified teachers from Georgian-American High School, who will prepare tests for the participants of the Olympiad.
The Olympiad comprises two stages: on December 4-the selection tour covering the territory of Georgia will be held; on December 8-the final will be organized in Tbilisi.
The bests holding 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be named in each class and rewarded with valuable prizes. The prize fund of the Olympiad is 10 000 Laris.
