The uniqueness of ISU College of Business lies in use of modern teaching methodologies based on the experience of the best schools worldwide as well as in the integration of theoretical training and practical skills development.
“Insurance Studies” is a practice-oriented study program. The main aims of the program are to train and to prepare insurance managers. The students will be given a chance to obtain knowledge about the full spectrum of insurance and its core competencies. Also, students will be able to acquire practical skills in order to analyze conceptual problems and to solve them. They will be given the opportunity to develop and to obtain specific knowledge and skills regarding registration of life or non-life insurance, underwriting, management of risks and insurance organizations and etc. that are essential to cope with insurance sphere.
The students will have the opportunities to participate in the innovative program of business simulation (Insurance Organization) elaborated by ISU College of Business and to transform their theoretical knowledge into practical skills that is essential for business making. Consequently, they will be skilled to work in any vacant position of insurance organization that upholds to recognize the importance of the position as well as to develop the sense of responsibility.
