Memorandum with the Public Defender’s Office
On April 10, 16:30, Mr. Gigi Tevzadze, Rector of Ilia State University and George Tugushi, Public Defender of Georgia, signed a memorandum of cooperation at Ilia State University Hall G 106 (G. Tsereteli 2, Former Encyclopedia Building).
The memorandum provides students with opportunities for professional mastering and development. They will be able to gain practical experience and obtain high-quality judicial education through the cooperation with the Public Defender’s Office.
On the basis of this memorandum, ISU students will be able to hold a three-month practice at the Public Defender’s Office and its specialized centers. They will be accepted at the beginning of the academic semester on the basis of the merit-interview carried out by the representatives of the Office. The representatives of the Public Defender’s Office delivered a public lectures at the university and contribute to the planning of various activities.
