Memorandum of Cooperation
Ilia State University and Central Public Health Reference Laboratory signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation. The memorandum was signed by Gigi Tevzadze, Rector of Ilia State University and Anna Jvania, Director of the Central Public Health Reference Laboratory.
The memorandum aims to develop the scientific partnership in the field of biosecurity and biological researches. Accordingly, it implies preparation and development of the research proposals and studying programs, coordination of biological researches and education development, working on the joint projects by the mobilization of intellectual, financial and technical resources, creation of the education system in compliance with international standards. 
Ms. Jvania underlined that young researchers will contribute to fulfill the mentioned goals. According to the memorandum, the signatories will elaborate an action plan/schedule and appoint a person in charge of it. They will recruit staff for the joint scientific activities and use intellectual resources/academic personnel for the development of the studying programs, training materials, institutional supervision and other activities.
