Meeting with Prosecutor General of Georgia
On October 22, the 2nd year students of ISU School of Law visited the Prosecutor General's Office within the framework of the academic course "Legal Professions".
The students met Mr. Archil Kbilashvili, the Prosecutor General of Georgia, Mr. Kakha Tsereteli, Head of the Prosecutor General's Department and other representatives. They offered an introductory presentation on the prosecution structure, departments and the principle of their activities.
The audience received information about the ongoing projects and initiatives, with special emphasis on the electronic program of correspondence. Mr. Archil Kbilashvili discussed the advantages and disadvantages of jury trials, reviewed the court cases and their results. The meeting ended through the interactive format.
After the official meeting, Mr. Archil Kbilashvili and Prosecutor Ia Darjania introduced the conference and meeting rooms to students in details, as well as investigation departments and working rooms where students became acquainted with the practical working process.
