Meeting of the Public Defender with Students

The Public Defender of Georgia met students of Ilia State University within the frameworks of the project “Debates on Public Politics”. During the meeting, George Tugushi publicly highlighted and discussed a report 2010. The Public Defender of Georgia appreciated a 600-page document that deals with a broad spectrum of rights and freedom as quite critical.

George Tugushi reviewed the condition of civic-political, economical, social and cultural rights.

The audience addressed the questions to the Public Defender and the students’ interests were especially focused on the condition of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and the state of people damaged through the conflict.
