Lecture Course by Patrick Seriot

On May 16, Patrick Seriot, Professor from the University of Lausanne, started the lecture course on “Understanding the Soviet Union through the History of Human and Social Sciences: the Inter-war Period” at Ilia State University.

The top topic of the first lecture was “Russia Goes East: the Invention of Eurasia”.

The professor carried out the presentation about the University of Lausanne and familiarized the audience with the university resources. Mr. Seriot appealed them to continue their academic studies at the University in order to get involved in the researches chaired by the professor.
