


ISU Architects First Prize
On June 22, 2012, ISU students of the Department of Engineering obtained the first prize of the student architecture contest carried out within the framework of the program “Renewable Energy and Implementation of Energo Effect Projects” financed by the Energy Efficiency Center of Georgia, BP-Georgia and its partners in the field of gas and oil.
The works of the participants were assessed by the jury staffed with the representatives of the Energy Efficiency Center of Georgia, Georgian Technical University, Georgia Architecture Association, Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and Ilia State University.
Ilia State University student team included:

- Nino Kobuladze
- Guram Mamisashvili
- Sulkhan Tabatadze
- George Kipshidze
They presented the project titled “The Horse Stable at Lisi Lake”. 21 projects took part in the first stage and 9 projects from them were selected after the first review. ISU students received the first award.
The total prize of the contest was 1000USD. The best five projects were revealed and the winners were awarded with the prize-200 USD. All participants were awarded with certificates highlighting their participation in the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
