International Film Festival at Iliauni
On February 25-27, Ilia State University hosted an international film festival. !f Istanbul International Film Festival is the most important event of the region aims to familiarize audience with modern films of different countries. !f Istanbul Live is a project that unifies different towns and countries. Watching the films in online mode took place in Turkey and the Middle East.
Within the frameworks of the festival 2011, the screening of the following 5 different genre films was organized: Women Are Heroes, Four Lions; The Last Summer of Boyita; Fleurs Du Mal and Mars.
The main aim of the festival was to answer the questions regarding a place of an individual in the contemporary world. It should be noted that all screened films illustrate real stories from around the world.
The representatives of the audience were given the possibilities to address film producers with questions, to express their opinions and to participate in the discussion.
