The mentioned professors are well-known specialists in the fields of political sciences and cultural geography. The German students have mostly studied in the spheres of political sciences, cultural researches, media and caucasiology. This year, 60 interested students from Germany filled out the application forms.
15 students were initially financed by DAAD, but 5 scholarships were added due to the exceptional popularity of the program.
Dr. Hiller, DAAD South and East Europe Regional Coordinator, visited Ilia State University and reported that our school topped the first position among DAAD’s summer schools as a consequence of the overwhelming responses from interested people. The coordinator proposed the university to uphold and enhance their mutual cooperation.
