On the rugby sevens tournament, organized by the Federation of University Sports, Iliauni team became the champion. On June 1, in the semi finals Iliauni team met with the team from the Technical University of Georgia and after the tense game obtained the right to play in the finals.

The finals were held on June 2, where Iliauni's competitor was the team from National University of Georgia. Iliauni's team again defeated the opponent team and showed 24-10 on the tabloid.

The competition was held at the "Wissol Rugby Stadium".
