Iliauni Exchange Program 2012

On July 11-26, Ilia State University hosted the group of Polish students concentrating on tourism and management specialties. The exchange program is being successfully implemented for three years among Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland) and Ilia State University.

The students visited the sightseeing and tourist attractions of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Kakheti, Imereti, Adjara, Abastumani and Kazbegi.

The exchange program aims to provide future tourism managers with studying practice, with the intention of assessing the tourism potential of the country and generating new ideas.

The return visit is organized from September 4 to 19, 2012. In frame of the visit, ISU students will see the biggest cities of Poland and major tourist attractions.  ISU students will be given the chance to get familiar with tourism development strategies of Poland and to expand the horizon of their experience.
