Iliauni at Georgian Education Week
On March 5-13, 2011 Ilia State University participated in “Georgian Educational Week 2011”. The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Tbilisi City Hall. The representatives of public and private higher and professional educational institutions, donor and international organizations supporting education system development, participated in the event. The exhibition was opened by Dimitri Shashkin, Minister of Education and Science and David Ninidze, Tbilisi Vice Mayor.
The representatives of Ilia State University highlighted and presented ISU academic programs, familiarized the audience gathered at “Expo Georgia” with the opportunities offered for professional development and career success. Publications, leaflets and an annual report about the ISU, its colleges, research centers and labs was distributed during the exhibition. In addition, Ilia State University presented current ISU projects.
The representatives of different universities shared an experience and discussed opportunities for launching new educational initiatives.
