2015 has been successful for Ilia State University in terms of acceptance of bachelor's degree students.

IliaUni is accepting 2875 entrants this year, out of 7149 enrollees who signed us down for first choice university. Thus, leading the poll for contest throughout the country based on the first choice of university*.

Weighing against similar programmes existent throughout the country, most demanded majors at Ilia State University according to first choice were physics, business administration, archeology, history, philosophy and Georgian Philology undergraduate programmes.
Furthermore, it is noteworthy that IliaUni was highest on the nationwide contest based on the first choice only for undergraduate programme in physics.

Among 705 undergraduate degree programmes existing throughout the country (based on the first choice contest) Ilia State Uni ranked second for undergraduate programme in philosophy, third place for undergraduate programme in philology, and sixth place for undergraduate programme in archaeology.

* When discussing the contests, it is important to consider them according to the student's first placement of choice rather than based on collective vote, because applicants have the opportunity to select multiple programmes and for last place often choose those programmes and universities to which they have no interest for attending.
