On January 30 Ilia State University Theatre held a concert of Ilia State University Folk Choir. Folk Choir was founded by professor and ethno musician Tamaz Gabisonia at the music centre of ISU last spring. Members of the choir are ISU bachelor and master students as well as graduates. Abovementioned concert was the second annual concert of the choir. In the repertoire (as at the first annual concert) of the choir were twenty-three songs from different Georgian regions and genres and two hymns. From the old repertoire five models were performed by former members of the choir with the new staff. 

From the spring semester ISU Folk Choir is announcing vacancies for new members.
