Ilia State University Championship in Chess

On March 28 the Palace of Chess held Ilia State University students’ championship in chess. 24 students from Ilia State University were participating in the championship. Among them were bachelor, as well as master and PhD students. After long and tense play stages champions were named.

The winners:

I place - Roma Chitadze

II place – Zurab Talakhadze

III place – Giorgi Kantaria

The winners were awarded with cups and memorable gifts with Iliauni symbols. At the same time holders of first and second place and the only female participant of the tournament will have an opportunity to participate in Universide 2013 with the name of Ilia State University.
