Exhibition of Scenography Students
Ilia State University Educational Theatre hosted an exhibition of the scenography students participating in the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space/ PQ11.
BA and MA degree students from various universities took part in the exhibition.
The participants represented traditional theatrical models, also urban, multimedia installations and visual- scenographic projects created in 3D format.
Prague Quadrennial is the most important international forum in the fields of theatrical architecture and scenography and covers performance design, theatrical costumes, theatrical architecture, new technologies (including sound design) as well as other fields of arts education. It was important for Georgian students to participate in the exhibition and to show methodological achievements of the various schools of scenography.
YTA union is an organizer of the project “Georgian Scenographic School on International Prague Quadrennial” and the pavilion of Georgian participants on PQ11 will be represented by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia (International Program “Georgian Seasons”).
