


Economic Model of Religion and Politics
Sam Potolicchio, Assistant Professor at Georgetown University, delivered a public lecture dedicated to the topic “The Economic Model of Religion and Politics”.
The lecture covered in-depth analysis on the connection between religion and politics, highlighted influence of religion on person and individual’s political life as well. In addition, the professor talked about the religious diversity in the United States of America and underlined the role of religion in Americans’ daily life.
Mr. Potolicchio represented the newest statistics based on the experience of different countries.
Sam Potolicchio is a visiting assistant professor at Georgetown University where he specialized in Politics and Psychology. He holds M.A academic degree in Politology (Georgetown University) and Theology (Harvard University).
Currently, Mr.Potolicchio works on his doctoral dissertation. He is an owner of several honorary awards (among them “Teacher of the Year”). His articles on religion and politics have been published in volumes of Congressional Quarterly Press and Oxford University Press.
